Training is the backbone of our business and we’ve made a significant investment in our in-house training centre which is meticulously designed to mirror the environment of a new build property.
Come and join one of the fastest growing Mechanical companies in the South of England.

We work very closely with the local colleges and we have developed a strict in-house training programme which we put all of our Apprentice and Trainee plumbers through.
We also ensure that anyone coming to join our busy office team, which is the heart of the business, gets all the training and support they need to equip them with the skills they require to work within our company.
For us to thrive, we recognise the importance of attracting the finest talent to our team. Our apprenticeship scheme lies at the heart of our operations, and we take immense pride in the fact that 80% of our current workforce has come through our training programme.
As a school leaver or aspiring apprentice, joining us means becoming part of a company where learning and development are prioritised. Alongside experienced professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to hone your skills and knowledge, laying the foundation for a prosperous career in the plumbing and heating industry.
I’ve had the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment surrounded by experienced professionals. The hands-on training has equipped me with invaluable skills and knowledge essential for my career. I’m grateful for the mentorship and guidance provided, and I’m excited to continue my journey with Lush Mechanical.

Jack Evans, Trainee
How does it work? The programme is centred around our new build sites and tailored to the needs of the industry. Our in-house trainee plumber scheme caters to individuals over 18 years old and typically spans around three years, although duration may vary based on individual progress.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll acquire industry-recognised qualifications, including a plumbing diploma, NVQ Level 2, G3 unvented certification, and an in-house heat pump training certificate. Working alongside a lead plumber and you’ll be an integral part of our team.
Upon joining, you’ll receive a Lush Mechanical training folder to guide you through your journey, combining on-site experience with structured training sessions at our dedicated training centre. Additionally, every trainee undergoes a quarterly one-to-one review with a senior manager to discuss progress, development and set new training targets.
We’ve invested in our own in-house training centre, specifically designed to provide our Trainee plumbers with an environment that replicates a new build property.
All of our trainers have years of experience in new build projects, enabling us to offer new plumbers the opportunity to tackle much more complex areas of plumbing and heating at an earlier stage of their development.
